I seem to think it is nasty to use a used washing machine.. Like especially putting your under garments in a used washing machine... Am I stupid or what?? Like what if someone with a nasty disease had used the washing machine before and then when I put my clothes in there would that be gross??? I know the water and soap cleans but still I have a wierd feeling.. please tell me your opinions on this.

I watch this show and it really helps get you motivated to clean out your junk. Anyone else find this to be a cleansing experience?

i work in an assisted living faucility. one resident has an urine odor that permeated everything. i washed her clothes twice with baking soda and commerical laundry detergent. it still smells. she is incontinent and changes herself often and they are removed often. the doctors are trying to figure it out. until they do are there any suggestion how to mask or get rid of the odor. we have all kind of commerical stuff. i was thinking something along the lines of a natural product.

My Fiance and I just moved into our new home this weekend. Sadly it has not been kept in good condition or been occupied in over a year. There is dust everywhere! In the vents on the windows, on the floors and I just cant seem to get rid of it all. I suffer from allergies to dust so any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!

It is from Walmart and it has a very detailed threaded pattern on the front. It says dry clean only but I heard once that if something has never been dry cleaned before that you can wash it in a regular washing machine on the gentle cycle. I'm on a budget and it needs to be washed. Only serious answers please. I need to know if this is true.

I have a lime green, butter soft italian leather hobo. It's beautiful, and I ruined it by reaching for an uncovered pen in my bag, and now have a nice blue Nike swish on my beautiful hobo. Can someone tell me how to get the ink off the leather without ruining the integrity of the leather?

I am looking for a small dish drainer that I can fix onto the side of a cupboard above my sink area. The ideal max size would be 28cm long by 24cm wide.

It doesn't have to come with fixings as I may be able to alter it myself to attach it to the cupboards. Any ideas where I might get such a small dish drainer?

I'm based in London, UK.
