Buy your self a can of Foam Saddle Soap, it is made by Turtle Wax. and it is safe for all leather, plastic and vinyl.
The can is 400g. and it lasts a long time. If you are worried about spraying it directly on your boots, then spray a cloth and then rub the boots. I use it for boots, purses, and what ever need a delicate cleaning. Hope this helps. You can pick it up at the local hardware store or where ever they sell Turtle products.

I use a warm slightly soapy washcloth on my suede boots, it seems to work pretty well

they make a suede cleaning product,you can probably but it at walmart,or payless shoe stores!
