I had a cantainer of Tide on the washing machine. During the spin cycle it droped off. The cap came off and now I have laundry detergant all over my laundry room. I put towels down to soak most of it up. But how do I get it up off the floor without it bubbling up and taking several attemps to clean it up.

A bottle of olive oil broke and spilled on carpeting covering stairs. Tried a small carpet cleaner to no avail. Can't seem to soak up the oil no less remove the stain. Any suggestions?

1. Under normal wash and medium dry for regular and work clothing?
2. Under 15 min semi delicate wash or more delicate wash (for regular and or knits): sweaters, pants, jeans, dresses, night clothes, coats, sweats, knee highs; usually the more delicate ones lined dry or hung to dry and regular ones medium heat dried (80 minutes)?

No matter which scented bleach I buy - whether pine, citrus, artic, lavender, or any other scent - bleach always smells the same to me. It's always that chlorine smell of a public swimming pool. I can never smell the scent the bleach is supposed to have.

get my hand and bath towels to be soft. When I wash them I add a fabric softener. When I dry them outside or put them on a clothes dryer they are really rough, but when I put them in the tumble dryer the are soft but I don't want to use the tumble dryer all the time. Many thanks to all who reply.

I question the label as they are only made out of polyester and other common materials so perhaps I can wash them after all. Ive noticed that normal clothes often say dry clean only when they can be washed, so maybe this is the same scenario. These gloves really are smelly though so I have to do something, is an alternative to soap and water?

for example - Clorox Counter Top cleaner comes in a spray bottle, when it is near empty, it no longer sprays out the product.

There is still a bit of product left; what can I do? waste not, want not.

There's a lot of gunk on the surface, but even more crap stuck to the underbelly of the griddle. I'd like to hear your suggestions.

I was doodling some calculus equations on my refrigerator to help my roommate, and to my unpleasant surprise the marks don't come off. I've tried bleach, windex, goo gone spray, toothpaste, ethanol, 409, glass cleaner, water, erasers, and a leather cleaner. Any ideas are greatly appreciated

How do you get deoderant off of delicates when you hand wash them? I have been using an all-natural detergent, would something like Woolite work better?
