I personally prefer a shower, you are not lying in your own dirt !.
A friend of mine tore out the bath and made the room into a double shower room - the tray was twice the width as normal and filled the whole area the bath had covered.
she sold her house within hours, people were very impressed, simply because it was different.

It's fine if the flat goes to males, but a female might want a bath, I know that's something I'd love, our house currently only has a shower, and I was looking for a bath as well.

yes you will lose some value in the flat but if you are planning to stay in the place yourself and not move then why not put in what you want to.....personally though i prefer both so i have a shower over the bath, best of both worlds then....
