I was doodling some calculus equations on my refrigerator to help my roommate, and to my unpleasant surprise the marks don't come off. I've tried bleach, windex, goo gone spray, toothpaste, ethanol, 409, glass cleaner, water, erasers, and a leather cleaner. Any ideas are greatly appreciated

Have you tried the dry erase cleaner sold with the dry erase markers? Was the ethanol rubbing alcohol? If it was you may have to get some ethanol with a higher proof then the rubbing alcohol. Also there is a new product by I believe Mr. Clean that claims to remove almost anything. This is a dual sponge that is white sponge on the bottom with a scratch pad on top. This sponge has the cleaner in it, it's worth a try. Good luck

Hi there I am so surprised how many people like the Magic Eraser. It is nothing more than a dense piece of foam and falls apart after one use. I've tried rubbing alcohol just to have the marks fade. There is a product that is made especially for dry eraser marks and can be found in most office supply stores.http://www.buyon linenow.com/viewproduct.asp?sku=SAN08504 Here it is online. This works. Have a great week.

Use a damp rag, dump a little baking soda on it and rub the marks off with it. You'll be surprised at how well and quick this works. It cleans plastics very well, only can make minor scratching in some of the softest plastics. So test it first.

Well, you can go out and buy Mr. Clean Magic Erasers... they will likely do the job... but if you want an even less expensive solution, use plain old rubbing alcohol.... yep.... plain old rubbing alcohol... 70% proof.... it'll do the trick.

Take rubbing alcohol on a piece of paper towel or sponge, that should do it.
