I have four cats; two of them are long haired. Nothing I have tried thus far gets rid of the fur on everything. I have tried vacuuming, which doesn't work on drapes, washing in washing machine, which doesn't get rid of all the fur, and tape, which is too time consuming and not feasable to use over the entire house. Any new ideas or tricks you know of?

i live in a condo in a city and the breeze always brings in some dust. also, my hair seems to be falling out! anyway, i'm looking for a product that's like swiffer; something that can pick up dust really well. (note: i'd like to do a quick sweep of my floors every day and if i kept buying those swiffer cloths, i'd go broke in no time!) so if you know of a product that really works, please do tell. thanks!

I don't dare use bleach.
And my mom uses vinegar to clean a lot of things, so I was wondering.

Dam*. I love the smell of this one certain kind of laundry soap but it's expensive so I don't get to buy it much. I was able to grab one today and when I went to do my laundry I smelled it, and it didn't have a smell. I looked at the bottle to see "fragrance free". Oooo I'm so mad! LOL. I know, get a life. What kind of laundry soap do you use?

Somethings to cut back on time, energy expended, and/or money.
Looking for something involving the actual cleaning processes (dishes, clothes, floors).

These are unreachable by hand to do scrubbing. Is there a chemical out there safe to use on a food service item like coffee decanters? One type is just glass, and the other decanter has the lower half just of stainless steel - but it seems to hold the staining of the coffee and the brush seems to have no effect. Thanks for your help!

I heard this once somewhere, that if you toss a couple in the dryer with your clothes they draw the satic out. Has anyone ever tried this? Also does anyone have any other suggestions other than static spray, fabric softener or dryer sheets?
Thanks!
