put them in a pillow case when washing but air dry them because if you put them in a dryer they will get out of shape and come apart, good luck!

Take out the insoles first. Put the insoles and sneakers into a pillowcase cover with zipper on it, [ or a regular pillowcase and tie it up] throw it in the washer on the gentle cycle and wash.
If you intend to dry them in the dryer also use the air fluff.
You can prewash with softscruff if desired and do not use a fabric softer it will break down the sneaker material and cause yellowing....

I found that SOFT SCRUB cleaner works well, or a non abrasive cleaner. When I worked for Rebok most all of thier shoes could be washed in the washing machine on the gentle cycle. you need to take out the insoles.

Throw them in a big bucket and let them soak with some joy dish soap and baking soda. Then put them somewhere that there is a breeze so that they can dry fast. Don't put them in the washer or dryer. They will tear up. You can use a toothbrush to scrub the outside but don't scrub too hard. They will be nice and fresh.

if you mean Runners, (joggers, sweat shoes) In the washing machine is fine. It helps if you put a both towel, (helps with the noise level) in with them. Then hang them on the clothes line to dry
