My washer is toast..so I have to purchase a new one and was wondering if anyone has had good luck with Fisher Paykel. Also if anyone has a front loader what brand do you have and do you like it. Any information is valued. Thanks.

I have the Sears GE front-load washer (and the matching dryer as well) and I think it has to be the best washer that I have ever owned (yes I have gone through a few over the years, unfortunately). I would recommend them to anyone and everyone that is looking for new washer and dryer sets!!

We have a conventional (with post agitator in the middle) top-loading Whirlpool clothes washer that we've had for 6 years. It has NEVER failed us, and it even has a hand washing cycle (agitator swishes the clothes gently and intermittently for 4 seconds every 60 seconds). Before that we had a conventional top loading Lady Kenmore (Sears/ The Great Indoors) which lasted 16 years BEFORE EVER BREAKING. I sure do miss that SOAK cycle. That machine was wonderful. The Sears machines were very elegant looking machines with automatic dispensers for bleach, fabric softener, dry and liquid detergent, automatic water temperature control and dual action high and low speed agitation. The looks have changed now, but you can't go wrong with Whirlpool and Sears old standard technology top loaders.

I don't care what people are saying about those new fangled front loading clothes washers. They may save water, but they are getting a reputation for being maintenance nightmares, so where's the savings??? On top of that, the front loading machines that you've been hearing so much about have very expensive initial costs. A conventional top loader with all the frills won't cost you more than $500.00, and they're reliable.

Weve had a Fisher & Paykel (top loaded) for about 3 years, and I like it. The controls are all digital and it has more washing options than most machines, but the controls are very easy to figure out. So far it hasnt broken down. It's also energy efficient and we got a rebate from the utility company for it. I would recommend it.

Beko are made in Turkey. The Turks are no longer famous for his or her engineering prowess. the main suitable fee for money is an Indesit. Indesit are made by using Merloni who're the main important producer of washing machines in Europe. so they understand to lead them to. I even have continuously offered Indesit and those days offered a 7 kg potential form. It takes a unmarried cover very easily. The overall performance is comparable to the different gadget and you could wash much less often. it is AA rated too.

unless you have alot of clothes i mean a lot i don't recommend the front loaders there are some major issues with them the just recalled over 800 of them, samsung made most of them the problem is electrical fires, as far as fisher packel, don't go there your best bet will be to go with a whirlpool. whirlpool just bought out Maytag so there you go. good luck!

Advise, You wont a good washing machine? Get your self a Woolpool heavy duty. It don't need to be fancy with 2 dozen items on the controls. All you have is normal, permapress and delicate , so why pay for more things to go wrong. Help it simple stuped is the old saying.
