i would use woolite upholstry cleaner for pets and others. i used it on my couch and its micro suede. no bleaching or ne thing happened and it smells great. although no my pets nor neice pee'd on it but my dog can smell pretty funky at times.... i DID use it on my down comforter where my cat pee'd on it and then my dog pee'd a few days after. i guess they were having a war over my husband and i.... it got the stains out and the urine smell or both my dog and cat! this stuff works great!

You need to go rent a rug doctor! Or you can use a mild upholstery cleaner on the spot. My niece peed on my couch not too long ago and I used a little spray'n' wash and rinsed it, you can't see the spot and it never left a bad smell.
