The plot thickens...?

Porus pavers are made either of cement or clay.

Easy Off oven cleaner will also remove the bar-b-q grease from cement or clay but there will be a stain remaining usually.

If the cement or clay is coloured it is possible any cleaner may attack the colour also so try sampling a small area on the edge first.

After the grease has been removed, a strong solution of tri sodium sulphate in hot water should lift the remaining stain. TSP is found in Lowes and Home Depot.

You may also want to check with a decorative tile and block outlet for newer types of cleaning solutions as well.

When your cleaning project is behind you, I would suggest you correct the source of the problem, the bar-b-q. Put a drip can under the bar-b-q where the grease drips thru. Use a metal paint can, or such, and not one made of plastic.

For grease/oil stains on my concrete driveway, I use powdered laundry detergent. Mix with a small amount of water to make a paste and spread over the stain. Let it sit for a couple hours and then use a scrub brush and fresh water.
