No matter which scented bleach I buy - whether pine, citrus, artic, lavender, or any other scent - bleach always smells the same to me. It's always that chlorine smell of a public swimming pool. I can never smell the scent the bleach is supposed to have.

Bleach smells like chlorine. They add other scents to try to mask the chlorine scent.
The only way to get away from the chlorine smell is to use a bleach alternative.

Then don't use chlorine bleach. I don't. If I do use it, I use it very seldom cause it's a very toxic, caustic acid and it's really not good for your clothes or your body or the environment.

You can get similar results using hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Let the clothes soak instead of just letting the machine run through its cycle. However if you do laundry at a laundromat you have no choice.

Bleach is made from sodium hyperchloride, you should never mix
it with any other cleaners or acids like vinegar it makes a
