i have found that some places charge per item and others have a set rate, whats better? whats a fair fee for them to charge me?

in my area its usualy 10 pound per basket full (to the brim) but you could see how long it takes you and 10 per hour sounds fair also

id probably say £5 a load..mind u whats a load classed as,suppose u could charge by the hour but if that were me id take my time ironign it!! only u can be the judge of how much u should pay...perhaps ask a friend to do it ask her/ how much she wants for doing it.if u dont agree then haggle!!!

as a widower who cant handle an iron i pay 60pence per article for ironing, pressing. this includes collection and delivery.

I would not pay to get my clothes ironed.I buy clothes that tumble dry & do not need ironing.
