ABSOLUTELY! I work full-time, and would rather pay someone to do. When I was at-home with kids, I enjoyed doing it, but now that they are grown, and I'm back in the work force, it's just another task that would keep me on my feet after a 12 hour shift on my feet at work!
PS - I live in BC - when do you want to come do my ironing?

Absolutely. Some of us work longer hours and have Husbands that wear dress shirts every day.
When I am on the road working, I have to be certain the family is cared for perfectly before I leave and this is one of the ways I can do that.
For myself I try to avoid fabrics that require ironing.
And no I am not lazy, to the person who said that.
I have a husband, 2 children and two Mothers living in my house. Plus full time traveling job. This requires juggling and ironing is a trivial task I can farm out to someone who can use the work.

I live in Switzerland where most appartments don't have a washing machine and you are allotted a slot for washing in the shared laundry room, so given that I have enough washing to do as it is, I take all my husbands shirts to a dry cleaner that launders them, irons them and has them ready to collect 24 hours later. It's a complete lifesaver.
Even now that I have a washing machine I find that they do it far faster and to a better standard than I do, plus I hate ironing.
If you can afford it - go for it!

Definately if you can afford it and hate doing it. Why not. Why spend your time doing things you hate if you can afford to pay somebody else to do it for you. There are people who enjoy ironing and earning money while doing it is great for them.

I've done it a couple of times when we've come back from holidays. They washed, dreid and ironed 2 big bags for £23.00. It would have taken me ages as I was working full-time then and it was a life-saver.

Certainly not, that would be just lazy, even though some people dread or hate it so much and personally I think it's not so bad to iron as long as you know some shortcuts or hints on making it more enjoyable.

Yes of course, and don't feel guilty either.
Just think that you are giving yourself time to spend with your family, and also keeping someone in work.
I have done the job in my youth, and quite enjoyed helping moms have the time to spend with their little ones, so no guilt do it.

Maybe a person doesn't have the time to do it themself. There is no shame in hiring a person to take on that job for you.
