This molding is a white, finished molding that they say is made of a vinyl composite. It's really nice because it won't have to be painted. However, I'm afraid to nail it as it might shatter. Anyone have any great ideas?
Thanks

I'm 17 years old and I record musicians in my house alot. However, my parents told me I have to pack up my stuff cause its taking up too much of the house. So I need to create my own studio...somewhere else.

I have a ford expedition, and not much equipment (i can pretty much all fit in the front and back seat, leaving the trunk completely empty.)

I had an idea that I could make some kind of outdoor tent, but some tarp on the ground, and set up my stuff to record.

however...that tent thing costs 1500 bucks. i cant afford that. so I need to think of something thats portable, protects from light wind and freak showers, and is under 250 bucks. it only needs to hold a small drum kit, a few amps, 5 people, and a laptop, and i dont need a power source. im willing to put the time into building something myself.

Any ideas welcomed! I just dont have a place to record.

I have heard that there is a device that you can plug into the wall and they are supposed to keep bugs away and stuff. Has anyone used these things before and how long do they take to work?

My neighbor, it seems, abandoned his house and has an oleander covered with caterpillars. I know these are oleander caterpillars and will attack the plant. They are beginning to come over to our house. Could these bugs attack my grass and plants? I know he has several oleanders in the back yard too.

How can I remove scorch or "overcooked" food from a stainless steel saucepan? My son was cooking last night and I guess lost interest. :-) But I have soaked it and tried to cook it off and it is just like cement. :-( Thanks for your help in advance.

Its got a few stains on it that I would like to see gone, but seeing how it has wires I have no idea how to go about cleaning it. I would rather not take it to a dry cleaner if I can avoid it as they are rather pricey in my area.

I want to hang some blinds from my ceiling but to do so I need to drill holes. I bought a metal/voltage detector but it doesn't work (it either does nothing or screams continually, depending where I set the dial). So, if I can get a better one (recommendations, please!) will it be safe to put my faith in it and just drill where it says there is nothing?
What happens if I do hit a wire? Do I end up dead, or just calling an electrician?

Thanks!
