Its got a few stains on it that I would like to see gone, but seeing how it has wires I have no idea how to go about cleaning it. I would rather not take it to a dry cleaner if I can avoid it as they are rather pricey in my area.

Yes, I don't think I would want to launder it using water....and I also avoid the dry cleaner like the plague.

I would use baby wipes or Shout wipes to clean it and remove stains. Both will do a fairly good job and you won't have to use any water.

toss iti n the washer it wont hurt it,its like an electric blanket hang it up to dry an not in a dryer let dry at least 24 hours after wash

Wash it, just dont dry it. i worked in a dryleaning/laundry mat and that is all we did. just wash it you'll be fine...
