I've always thought the stain fighters in classic Spray n Wash did a fine job removing food stains....if caught early before they're set in.

If you have a greasy stain use Dawn dishliquid. For blood, cold water and mild soap.

Many may require different tricks and solvents to remove them. Best rule of thumb is to treat the stain as soon as it occurs before you throw it in the hamper and forget about it!

all depends on the stains, Most makeup stains , lipstick foundation and others come out by adding a small amount of dish washing liquid to them . Then rubbing the liquid into the stain using your finger tips. Next you pop into your washing machine on a 40 ºc normal wash , this method also removes grease stains too. Red wine stains are removed by pouring white wine over the stain, then rinsing straight away with cold water. There is a product that will remove almost any kind of stain , but you might not find this where you live . The name of this product is Dr Beckmann stain remover , you can look this up for yourself. Great product

I have personally gone ORGANIC with my laundry soap. Which SOUNDS expensive but it’s not. I got a dry soap powder for like $10 (80 loads) from www.SANDYCREEKSOAP.etsy.com and can I tell you IT’S AWESOME!!!! You barely need a teaspoon for a FULL load! And it’s works on whites, colors, STAINS... and it’s BABY SAFE! I just bought some for a friends baby shower, and they LOVE it! You can but different scents like lavender, lemon, etc. They also include directions on how to use the soap for a basic cleaning solution. I put it in a spray bottle and clean my WHOLE house with it!!! It’s great, just thought I would share this too (which is WHY I switched from store bought detergent to ORGANIC)....

I was diagnosed with rosaceae (red splotches) and suffered with it for years - under a Dr’s care...
I was told SOAPS (or what was in them rather) was creating my skin problems. I suffered with it for years until I took heed and listened. I bought their facial tea tree oil soap and their laundry detergent... and can I tell you - My life has changed!

What you need is HANDMADE or hand-milled soap made the old fashion way. Their soaps have GLYCERIN in them (a natural moisture retainer). In STORE bought soap glycerin is sold for profit and replaced with a chemical called sodium lauryl sulfate to add lather which is listed in the encyclopedia as a skin IRRITANT. I know, I couldn’t believe it either, but look it up! This chemical is found in 98% of ALL STORE bought soaps. SCARY, HU? READ THE BACK! (Even the ones claiming to be natural or clean). BUT the soaps at SANDY CREEK SOAP COMPANY are organic, natural AND eco friendly.

Really, if you are having ANY type of skin problems I urge you to try it! I tell everyone I know about them. They are awesome and VERY helpful with questions.... www.SANDYCREEKSOAP.etsy.com ..... And best of all they are CHEAP! Hope this helped....

Different stains require different treatments. I use dish soap for grease, and hydrogen peroxide for blood.

I use Oxi-clean on all of my whites, colors and my husbands greasy shirts. It seems to really work for me. I have never tried it on a spot on the rug but I really don't know why you couldn't use it there if you were to follow the directions on the container.
