Even if Obama were to lose Indiana and North Carolina, I am sure that he would not give up as he would still have a delegate lead. However, if this were to happen, Clinton would clearly have all the momentum and would definitely give the uncommitted superdelegates some serious food for thought. With NC's heavy black population, Clinton will need to win around 70% of the white vote to win the state. That's a pretty high mark and thus far, she has only hit those kind of numbers in the deep south. However, its still possible . This is assuming the black vote will be overwhelmingly for Obama and the Hispanic/Latino vote will be very pro Clinton as the trend has mostly been thus far. I think its possible but not likely that she'll overcome Obama in NC. In the final analysis though, her campaign and most pundits would probably view a loss of less than 10% to Obama here as very strong effort. I believe that if Hillary wins Indiana by any margin and doesn't get completely blown out in NC (say 15 points or more), she is still in it.
