we have a 59" opening in our bathroom for a tub. Rather than move the wall, I was wondering if I could just cut a new whirpool tub to the correct size, providing I don't cut any of the jet lines. I am concerned with rusting, so I am not sure if it is a good idea or not

This Craftsman garage door opener is about 5 years old and works all the time. It just happened, when I press the wall mount unit (that opens the garage door from inside the garage), the Craftsman unit just click and hummed 1-2 sec, and garage door does not move at all. I can open the garage door via manual pull down. Does anyone out there have any suggestions? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

k i have mice and roaches there is something called black and decker electronic pest repeller that you plug into the wall and it is suppose to rid of mice and roaches by producing this high in frequency sound. but its not working . they walk on top of and around that thing like it aint even there!! besides the regular mice poison and and mouse traps what else is good? its soo gross

the other day im coming into my apartment and when opening the door i roach falls on my head and slides down in between my glasses and unto the floor! the following morning a ******* mice runs across my back when im sleeping!! i am terrified of theses stuff i cant even kill them
please help i can't eat in this house because i feel soo gross out like i dont know if it has been touched by a mouse or a roach. everywhere i turn there is mouse droppings and that makes it hard to eat too!! i am clean but nothing is working!! i do not live alone i live with 2 siblings and my mother.

Hi-

I'm trying to install a dishwasher in an old home and would like some advice. First, I do not have a true ground wire from the switch that will be providing power to the garbage disposal. Outside of having an electrician come in to install a ground wire, my aged but wise uncle suggested I install a "false ground" that essentially connects a neutral jumper wire to the switch's ground, while also connecting the green ground from the disposal to this tab. Does this sound kosher? Any other suggestions?
Also, I'm faced with the choice of installing a receptacle which I can plug the disposal into, while also installing a switch that controls the outlet; or, alternatively, I can just hardwire from the switch to the disposal? What are the benefits/disadvantages (despite the headache of having to install an additional, unnecessary, outlet)?
Thanks so much!

I just got a Staghorn Fern from Target this week, it's a small one but it came planted in dirt, I have been reading that they need to be planted in moss, I would like to put it in a hanging metal basket, should I just fill the whole basket with moss and set the plant in there or what? Should I remove the dirt it's in? Please help I don't want to kill it. Thanx

The dishwasher works just fine, but the problem is that the holes in the bottom of it where the waer comes out are clogged up with this white stuff. Is there any fix to unclogging these holes? I tried using toothpicks in these small holes but it is difficult to reach inside the dishwasher and get it all out. Is there any household cleaner I could run in the dishwasher or anything to help?
