the seeds are so fine, theyre like powder and they are all growing to close together...any tips?

Do the same thing you do for poppy seeds. Crush the seed pods so that the seeds dump out onto a clean paper. Then you can either mix them with clean dry potting soil so there is more bulk and they are easier to handle or just sprinkle them out into furrows out of a partially-folded piece of paper.

I figured that out after I saved a lot of seeds for making tea. But then I realized I hated the taste and did not want to plant more the next year.

Yep, don't forget the drainage holes, but the middle tube of loo roll is better. Stand them in a seed tray so the compost doesn't fall out, and when the seedlings are bigger, you can pot them up/plant them out without taking off the carboard...it'll just decompose in the garden. OR, you could make little pots from old newspaper by using the loo roll inards as a 'mould' and folding the paper around it to make a litte pot shape. Again, no need to remove this as it'll rot away when planted out. Have fun
