Has anybody repainted aluminum siding latley? What is the best paint for this type of job?

I would like to use gloss white or semi gloss.

Rent a spray gun, you'll save time and money, your back and a lot of arguing. Go to Home Depot, tell them what your up to and ask for help. They'll give you an idea of the paint you can use and usually a good buy.

Use whatever gloss you prefer. Use a latex paint because the siding expands and contracts. Make sure you clean it well and remove shiny spots. TIP: Paint the ends of the siding when the temp is cooler. Since it expands during warmer temps, the ends will show the old color if painted when warmer and contracts later while cooling off.
