I have a large bush that is too hard to cut with a handsaw. I don't want anything too big or dangerous-just a nice easy to use electric saw. Can anyone recommend something?

My rosemary plants always die from the bottom up within a few months. If it lives I have a spindly tall plant that looks like a pathetic pine branch! I live in S. Coatal Georgia near the ocean and an hour north of Jax. Is that part of the problem?

I live in Minnesota so the summers are humid & the winters are drier so I don't know if I need to dehumidify as the weather gets cooler... My house was built in 1927 and I have an unfinished concrete basement. No sump pump, and it's been dry for a while (they re-graded the earth around the base of the house a couple years ago). We plan on finishing the basement this winter also, FYI. Any advice is appreciated!

I am putting down laminate in my house and I don't feel like pulling off the baseboards. Is it completely rediculous to just keep the baseboards intact and then use quarter round to cover the gap between the baseboards and the laminate flooring? If I can get away with this, should the quarter round be the same color as the baseboards (white) or the same color as the flooring (maple). Thanks!

I'm refurbishing this really great old metal cabinet. The door lock is gone, leaving in its place a nice large hold which is about 3/4" in diameter. I don't really need a lock, and the thing stays shut decently well. Is there some way to fill this hole then use a regular door pull on it, or is there a SUPER WIDE shank drawer pull that would work?

I don't have any thorned plants handy, and I'm just wondering - when you remove the thorn, what does the other side look like? Is it flat and smooth, or hooked into the plant somehow? I'm doing an organic graffiti type drawing.. anyways, I can't find any photos. Descriptions or photos would be appreciated.

All of the tips of my Madagascar Dragontree are brown. I live in an apartment that doesn't get direct sunlight and the plant sits next to a window. I repotted the plant using 6 month release fertilized soil. I water (one full cup) once a week. The plant is in a 10" pot and the plant is about 2 feet tall.

I'm just finishing the basement of my 1600sqft home. I was wondering if I should put in a 3/4 bath or a half bath?

What would the difference in resale value be?

I currently have two full baths (ensuite and guest) and one half bath (powder)
