Most palms transplant easily in late spring or early summer. Since new roots come from the base of the trunk, the root ball need not be very large. A new root system will form and produce lush new growth.

Make sure that you use lots of manure, peat moss or other organic amendment in the new hole. Water faithfully until the newly planted palm is established.

Good Luck!!

They die when you transport them.
I have tried many times.
Trust me on this.
