( this only happens the the restroom on the 2nd floor) How can i fix it. My water heater is in the garage, and I don't know if it has anything to do with that. PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO FIX THIS IF YOU ACTUALLY KNOW HOW. THANKS

I bought Sheila in mid-May from Home Depot. I have kept her very well-watered and she has so far grown about two feet, making her somewhere around 7 feet tall. I plan to fertilize her within the next week or so. Will my peach tree bloom next spring and produce fruit?

I recently purchased a mold test kit, and it appears some mold was growing in the petri dish after about 48 hours of observation in my basement. Does this mean I definitely have a mold problem and need to hire some mold remediation experts (which I have learned is very costly) or is there still a possibility that the mold is not very significant or harmful? Or, is it possible for me to do mold remediation on my own, short of tearing down and replacing all the drywall?

I am building a new house in Ohio. I have good access to wood but I do not want to take hassle of handling wood. What kind of file place should I build to get the best resale value when I sell the House. Wood, electric or gas and vented or vent free. Also I already built the chimney because I had wood fireplace in my mind when I started building the house. Your suggestions will be appreciated.

I decided to swap my yellowish Phillips fluorescent tubes for some new daylight Sylvania fluorescent tubes. Despite that both are the same length and wattage, when I put in the Sylvania tubes, there was a lot of flickering. Also, it was very dim; I almost couldn't read. When I swapped the old Phillips tubes back in, everything went back to normal.

What is the cause of this? Did I just get some really bad tubes?

My lawn is being taken over by weeds (Weeds now cover nearly 25%). I also have a few small patches where the grass is dead. What can I do in the fall to kill the weeds fix the holes and help the grass?

Preferably with minimal effort and without spending a lot.

Tonight the temperatures outside were supposed to get to 42 degrees, and my phalenopsis hybrid has put out a beautiful stem of buds that haven't blossomed yet, so I decided to protect the orchid. When I went to cover it, the stem snapped clean off!!! AUGH!!! I am so depressed because this is the first time I've actually kept an orchid alive long enough for it to rebloom. So what do I do now? If I keep the blossoming stem in water with some feed, will it bloom? Or should I give up and start banging my head into the wall? Also, the only reason I was going to cover the orchid was because I heard that they'll drop their buds if they're not protected in a cold snap. Was that even true, or did I sacrifice my little beauty for nothing?
