I am looking for two different trees. A small tree, 10-20'for a 5x7' planting area between sidewalk and small wall.Evergreen, with flowers or without flowers, not messy.
A dwarf tree, 6-10' for a 3X3 area. Thin trunk, evergreen with some color.Branches to start at 3 or 4'.
I have seen some trees that I like but they are deciduous, Dwarf peach tree, Forest pansy...
I would appreciate any help.
Thank you vey much

Thanks for your answers. I found a great website for crapemyrtle with a lot of photos and information. http://www.clemson.edu/crapemyrtle/
I may plant one of these. Also I love the dwarf lemon suggestion, I think it would look really good. And tomorrow I will start going around nurseries and definitely contact California Tropical fruit trees.
This Yahoo site and the people in the community are amazing!!!

Try a Crepe Myrtle for the larger spot. They come with white, pink or lilac colored flower clusters that look like large lilacs. They are gorgeous and easy. You can also try Japanese Maples and all varieties of citrus. Your best bet is to ask for advice at your local nursery.

Good Luck!
