We like to keep magazines/books that we're reading out, and we have the remotes. Any ideas on how to keep these things organized? I was thinking of baskets to put on the bottom of our coffee table... but then that might be too big for what we need.

I'm tired of using other cleaners - that don't shine the floor. I miss having a shiny floor.

With a water based sealent that would make it non-toxic and water resistant? How many coats would be needed, if so?

Happened outside my house this morning. No car accident. No bad weather. No branch falling on them. The other wires on the utility pole are intact.

My stepdaughter saw it through her bedroom window - said loud noise woke her, she looked out window to see the world exploding (my sister across the street saw a shower of sparks from her window). Then, the power went out in our house (and, apparently, in the whole neighborhood).

When I went outside, the two upper wires strung between the utility poles were dangling down, broken in the middle. The other wires on the utility pole were just fine. The poles were standing up straight. No other damage anywhere that I could see.

Power surge? Weakened wire (on both wires at the same point)? Crazy squirrel stunt gone bad?

I want to add a nice set of sporks, like 4-6ish or so... and I'm not really looking for plastic or these titanium camping sporks.

Ideally I'd like to find a nice regular kitchen utensil looking design. I saw some on eBay, but a bunch of the designs looked either old and fancy or too much camp like.

There's this infomercial on TV that is for this grass that you can throw down anywhere (even on the floor) and it magically grows. What is the name of that product? I want to look for it online, but I can't remember what it is called.

What could I put outside to repel them. I've checked all over the yard and there is nothing that could promote them. Could it be rose bushes? I need something to make them leave my yard.

I have Gerber daisies in a pot. The instructuins say they like sun. If I put them outside, they wilt. Is there a temperature they don't like? It doesn't state on the instructions. I had to bring them inside. I put them out in the sun for just 1/2 hour this morning to test them and sure enough they wilted again. It is only about 80 degrees right now.

My *sweet* little dogs have developed this liking for chewing on the insulation of our garage door.
I've heard there's an insulation kit so you could just pop out a panel and put in a new one.
Problem is, I can't find one anywhere. I've been to Lowes, Home Depot and even started searching on the internet.
I heard this might be a seasonal product - anyone know where I can get it, or at least when it will be available at Lowe's if I can't order it online somewhere right now?
Thanks everyone!

That is the spider. Please let me know if you know what it is, or where I can find out. Is it poisonous, dangerous in any way, etc.? And we have a one-year old too... I'm pretty sure it can harm him. Thanks.

We just moved into our first house five months ago. I have decorated the interior and also our private garden in the back is full of lively and beautiful autumn flowers. Anyhow, the back is adorable and so picturesque but the front of our townhouse looks like no one is home (aside from the daily newspaper a mini-rose pot by the door and a windchime).

There is a rock garden that is about 5 ft by 3 foot with nothing but rocks. We also have a private sidewalk to our door. In front of the rock garden in a small patch of grass. It is maintained by the property owners, not by us. But anyhow, I plan to put a glass top patio table with four chairs and umbrella on the grass area. But I need to know what to do with the rock garden? We are in a mountain climate so it snows and freezes a lot. I don't want to put out plants or flowers, but instead maybe some fountain/little pond or seating. My neighbor has all kinds of cool things in her area with lights and fenced borders etc, mine looks plain

I just moved in with the love of my life and he just bought a house! Unfortunetly the bathroom is XTREMLY small and its the only one for right now. So my question is how do u make an incredably small space look huge and what are some good storage shelfs and whatnot to put in the bathroom that some of you have used/using?
