I accidentally spilled hot wax onto a chiffon like material. It looks like it dried embedded into the material. Does anyone know how i can remove it without ruining the material since its pretty delicate?

The top four inches is curved crown molding, with the widest "layer" about 2" high. There is a flat 1" high section at the bottom that might be the easiest to work on. Wide white vertical blinds hang below it, so it's a lot of white. This is above my sliding glass door, and it's against a green wall. Thank you!

ever did b4. I don't like weed killers because they kill my garden. What can I do short of pulling them, placing yard fabric down, and putting mulch over? They should come with a warning...those and freeway daisies (osteospermums). Watch out for those too. Sperm is in their name for a reason. They proliferate like rabbits.

I have far too many mirrored closet doors in my bedroom.
I feel like I'm at a circus side show, there are so many.
Any ideas what I can do besides replacing them all together?

when the guy from the Council came round the house, to fit a handrail in the bathroom, he said he would have to come back as he did not have a mask as the wall was Artexed. was this really necessary as i have fitted a shower rail without realising that Artex actually contained asbestos .............cheers

I am not going to stay in my studio for longer than 1 year. Because of varnish they put, everything that touches it, like chairs, tables, scratch the finish, and it's awful to look at. I don't want to spend so much because I did already spent a lot to get this. What should I do? A wooden floor is nice even without a varnish as long as it does not scratch. Any suggestion? Thanks.

I have over the past few years let a steep grassy bank behind my house grow wild. The wild flowers are great but now I am realizing the burdock bushes have taken over. I really want to get rid of them, but how? I tried cutting them but there just too many. Some of them are huge.

I am a leasing agent for an apartment complex and my friends live in a different apartment complex and I was wondering about something.

I have worked as a leasing agent since February and I have not encountered a problem like this yet.

My friends that live in another apartment complex moved in about 2 months ago and since day 1, their dishwasher has not worked at all. They have put in numerous service requests to have it fixed but they haven't done it yet.

Is the dishwasher considered as part of the amenities/luxuries or what?

I want to help them out because they are 2 boys and they just let their dishes stack and it grosses me out......

Any advice?
