A little, but you have to sit or lie on a lot of it because it squishes down and you don't get too high on it. If you need something off a shelf, stand on something harder like a ladder or a chair. Cotton just is too soft.

If you're washing cotton, and you feel dizzy, it's probably from a combination of laundry products, not the fabric. Cotton is pretty inactive. I hope you've not mixed ammonia and chlorine bleach. That's poisonous and can explode.
