my friend is coming over in a bit, and i want my room to look really cool! hes a guy, so no girly things, k..?
well, could you please list the steps for me to clean my room, or just tidy it, really quick?

1. Pick up all clothing items (including shoes) and return them to their proper home: the hamper, the drawers, the closet.
2. Make the bed ... smooth, neat.
3. You can have girly knick knacks (you are a girl, after all); arrange them neatly and not too many. School books and school work should be in a neat stack; your musical instrument, if any, can be left out.
4. Make sure all detritis from snacks has left the area ... no old beverage containers, cracker crumbs, wrappers, etc.
5. Quick dusting of all surfaces, including the door frames, wall switches and sockets; dresser, desk, computer monitor and components; TV screen, radio and other electronics. Take a quick swipe at antennas and all exposed cords/cables.
6. Polish the mirror by spraying your paper towel with window cleaner and wipe; do the same with the glass in picture frames.
7. Finally, a quick vacuuming/floor dusting if it is a hard floor.
7. No air freshener with fakey perfume. Open windows and make the air move.
8. After your friend arrives, relax and enjoy your visit. P.S. Keep the door open at all times, your mom will feel better.

Okay ready ? set your alarm clock to go off in 15 min´s time . Go , all dirty clothes in a pile next to the bedroom door , along with anything else that does´t belong , never waste time taking thing´s back to their rightful places until you have finished. All clean clothes to the closet , hang up your jean´s skirt´s , fold your jumper´s and so on, OOPS, don´t forget the shoes from under the bed. Stop , Now have a rest , normally I would say come back to your computer and ask or answer a few more q, but as you have someone coming do the same again . Set the clock for 15 min´s more and carry on this way . You will be done in no time , Just remember when ever you do finish your cleaning , the golden rule is always reward yourself, no matter how little you do. Come on chop, chop.

Get some large garbage bags and just go into your room and shove everything into the bags and take them out to the garbage bins.

a quick tidy up? depends on how much stuff you have, and if your closet closes. Put your clothes where they belong, and stick everything else in your closet. You can fix everything after he leaves.

1. Throw all your stuff into your closet/dresser
2. Put something a guy would like in your room...XBox, PS2, conversation starters like magazines (cars are always good) or stuff you think you have in common so that you won't just sit there and stare at each other.
