I went to Lowe's today and bought a plastic box with these three plants inside it (All inside the same box). Can I keep these in the same box or should i seperate them? The plastic box is about 8 inches tall and 3 inches wide. Should I keep it under a fairly hot light (It's fairly cold where I am right now)? How much should I water them all? How much flys should I feed them all?

My livingroom picture window has a wide wooden trim around it. I'm not trying to make an illusion of it being larger. I just want to place the rod correctly. Would I put the rod holders right on the frame? The two outside ones will be okay but the middle one could be difficult because of the design in the frame. I would appreciate any help you can provide. My husband will be home soon to do the job and I have to get him while he's in the mood!! Thanks!

I have a pine tree that was our old Xmas tree from last year. It was a nice shade of green up until the blistering heat and drought of August, and now is mostly brown. The needles are still attached and rubbing over them doesnt make them shower off and hit the ground. So do i need to remove this tree due to its death? Or do i need to water and fertilize it to revive it from its near death experience? Thanks!

I'm trying to replace a kitchen faucet, and am replacing the hot and cold supply lines also. I've got the stainless steel supply lines to replace the old ones. Should I use teflon tape when connecting the new ones? Or plumbers putty? What is the difference? What happens if I don't use anything?

I am graduating from a good university with an BA and a BS this year. We will be leaving town because with the plethora of grads around here the job market is tight. I have to look elsewhere (out of state) for work.

I know where I *want* to go, but there is no guarantee someone there will hire me. So all I have is two general regions of the US where I will be applying for work (Pacific Northwest and New England).

I have three kids in school and pets, I can't just pick up and leave with a moment's notice. I can't even look at schools, homes or anything until I know where I will be hired! We live in university family housing, so I have to be moved out by two weeks after graduation.

How do you prepare for a major family move when you have no clue where you're going?

I have mice in my house and we've caught so many. I'm sure there's a lot in our house. We've caught like... nine so far. We're not going to move, but I seriously can't stand it. There's mouse droppings in my house, but what's the cleanest way to get rid of it? What else can I do to get rid of those tiny pests?! NO. I WILL NOT BUY A CAT OR A SNAKE. I want the house fumigated, but my mom doesn't want the house to smell afterwards.

So what now? :(
