I have a lot of junk lying around my house. I also have a lot of bathroom accessories that have built up over the years AND I have a load of papers, etc.

How do I condense and organize all of this? Any tips?

I think there are several steps.
1. Identify anything that is important such as antiques, sentimental, valuable. Keep what's important.
2. Get rid of duplicates you won't need. Sell on Ebay.
3. Get rid of worn out items.
Now you can organize.
A. You might want or need a filing cabinet for the papers. Get them put away.
B. Fill up existing closet and shelf space with stuff.
C. Add efficient space like shelves or use attic storage.
By this point you should be near the end and with a little luck Ebay may have saved or earned you some money. If you don't want to use Ebay try a yard sale.

Throw out everything that's broken or everything you don't need. It helps to have less clutter in the first place.

Then, one room at a time, sort what's left into stuff you want to display and stuff you want to store. And while you're at it, move furniture around and clean it. That is a big job, so recruit a friend or two to help.

After you're done, put everything in a place and make sure to put it back there when you're done using it.

You may want to invest in shelves and plastic totes to help store things.

Good luck!

You really just need to take the time and go through it all. Pick a throw away pile, a keep pile, and a donate pile if appropriate. For those items you need to keep, buy fabric lined baskets for your closet shelfs in your bath. If your papers are important, then buy bankers boxes from Staples and set them up in alphabetical files.
