It's been a gradual problem, but our washing machine will fill with water, rinse, empty the water; but after pulling clothes out, we'll notice soapy residue (or some small patches of bubbles... never more than 1 or 2 patches) still on the side of the tub.

We do not over fill the machine; in fact, I've tested it with only a t-shirt on a low load setting and it still happened.

Any ideas?
I would like to get the machine to run clean again.

(We purchased our home a few months ago and before that it sat vacant for a year. I am guessing the washer/dryer are from about 2001, since that's when the house was built.)

ok...im going to redo my room soon...since i havent done like anything to it since i was 5...and im now almost 15! so, yeah...i've already picked out which colors i want to paint it...i want it to be like a white background with like polka dots in the colors: "sweet midori", "tropical holiday", "dragon fruit", and " orange zest". ((all the colors are Behr paints!))

but i was wondering if any of you could help me pick out some stuff for my room. like a bedspread, sheets, a rug, accessories, pillows, and any other decorative stuff for it! this would be a huge help! and it would be great if you could give me some links for the stuff too...

all answers are appreciated!! thanks a whole bunch!! ♥

I purchased some ceramic flower pots at the dollar store and they have no drainage hole, suprise, suprise!! I have already tried drilling a hole with a masonry bit and got nowhere. My dad said ceramic is too hard and i will just dull the bit or ruin the motor with the drill and said to try to chizel a hole. Would this work or is there another way?

I know one of the rules for feng shui is not to have anything heavy hanging on the wall above your bed. I have a heavy mirror with a shelf ( looks like a window ) i have moved it around my apt but i feel it looks best above my bed. Is there anything i can do to counter this "bad chi"? like hanging a crystal or something?
Also..if it looks right and "feels" right for it to be above my bed wouldn't that be enough in the world of feng shui?

I have an area set off already and found a huge ant hill right in the middle of it. I was planning on putting in some compost, maybe some peat moss or something also, into the dirt as well. I don't want to spray with pesticides or anything if it will hurt my flowers later on. Thanks!

I had a new cement walkway made at my house. Because it was raining, the workers covered an area of the walk with a tarp. A day later when they removed the tarp, the area that was underneath had become discolored; 45 feet of the walkway is white, but the last 5 feet is grey-colored.

How much does it cost to get a brick bungalow put up?
Mid-size, about 20ft x 40ft.

Cost of foundations,
Building structure itself
Connection to utilities?

(Don't worry about the internal stuff like heating, kitchen, bathroom).

Thanks.

It gets decent water and inderect sun. This is it's second year and did really well for the first season and wintered well. The soil is fairly acidic. I just don't know what she wants. Thanks! :)

This has been a problem on and off for the last three years. It was better for a while when they had a live in dog sitter but now he's quit, they've hired a couple of guys to do it while they swan off to their house in Spain. The dogs bark the whole time they're on their own and I can't take much more! It sounds like an over reaction, but it drives me crazy! Now summer's finally arrived, everyone's got their windows open which makes the problem even worse!

It's gone eleven and I so want to go to bed, but there's no point.

I have a Briggs & Stratton engine on an older MTD mower. It appears to be leaking a bit of gas inside the air filter housing, which is dripping out the bottom of the housing onto the deck.

It's not a huge amount, but about a drip a second or so. What could be causing this?
