We bought it about 2 months ago and it is fine, but it has a mind of its own. It is in a zipped-up cover which we just washed. Before we washed it, the whole topper used to slide UP the bed about 4" every night - now it slides DOWN the bed the same distance!!

Any answers?

I am looking to buy a vaccum cleaner, barrel type with HEPA filter suitable for bamboo flooring and can only spend up to A$250.- There's no carpet in the house but I have a black long haired dog who sheds a lot of hair. I have to sweep at least once a day. Any suggestions, make, type, model etc..
Thank you.

I want to know what types of brooms are recommended for sweeping up wet and dry foliage. Not only for use outdoors, but indoors as well--such as a floral work shop.

Or can you use the same wires that electricians run along unfinished spaces? Thanks.

Six months ago the concrete in my condo was acid cleaned, etched, and then painted with standard flat concrete paint.

I would like to find instructions for a "Do It Yourself" project -- removing the concrete paint via grinding...and then polishing the concrete floors in my condo.

I don't want to attend a class or seminar...just detailed instructions on what to rent / buy and what to do! Any pointers...?

I have 2 ferrers and we have a new gate. However the ferrets can easily get through the gate. Is there anything around the house that I could put on the gate to stop them escaping? Or do I need to go and buy some plastic?

Thanks!

Its just a simple venus flytrap that I keep in my room by the window. I feed it whenever a fly happens to enter my room (maybe once every 4 to 5 months). But how often is it recommend that I feed my plant?

The problem is, it seems like most flower seeds have to be planted at least 1/2 an inch or more in the soil. Forget that! I just want to have buckets full of seeds that I can just THROW all over my yard, so that soon after, my neighbors will see my yard vomiting a tremendous carpet of flowers. I mean I want every bald inch of my front yard covered in flowers (mixed or not, whatever).

So, would I do this in early spring, or would I do it in the fall, and --> what flower seeds could I use? I'll use bags and bags of flower seeds on my yard, as long as I can just throw them down (no digging, tilling, planting, etc). Just tell me what and when. I wish I could do it now (it's almost autumn as of 'now'), that would be great. If I can, let me know.

My husband dropped a big dollop of ranch dressing on a colored tee shirt. He wiped immediately and I used Shout Ultra Gel right after that on both sides. Now what, cold water? Warm? Oxy-clean? Soak? Another dose of Shout before that?

I know that I'd have to buy a new tub & shower along with a toilet & sink but what else do I need to think about? We are also changing the location into a small bedroom the is about 12X14 big. I'm thinking 16 inch tile on the floors & 6 inch around the tub area. Everything else would be sheet rocked.

I use Gain Apple Mango Tango - yummy! I also use the matching dryer sheets. However, when I take my clothes out of the washer, they don't smell like the detergent at all. In fact, they smell sort of wet/mildewy. I throw them in the dryer with one to two dryer sheets, and when I pull them out, the damp smell is gone, but I don't smell the dryer sheet either. If I want the clothes to smell nice, should I be using a liquid fabric softener as well? Or maybe switch detergents? I have used others before, but it has been awhile and I can't recall if I had this problem. Also, if I forget the clothes in the washer for several hours, when I pop the washer lid, they smell just awful! Friends say theirs won't smell after only a few hours. Could it be the water? I have normal water through the city, not a well. Any ideas?
