I watered them religously through a dry month, and I could understand them not producing then in spite of all my efforts then/ But we have had good rain the last two weeks, and still they are not producing.

My bedroom is all black and white..I have a B&W Damask Bedspread, its a bold print and I'd like the main focus to be on it but I need some more color to accent with the black and white. I say not red because my kitchen is black, white, and red so I want something different in my bedroom.

I'm not really a pink person either.

any ideas?

I was wondering, does anyone know if some type of cacti have caspian (the same burning stuff found in hot peppers) in them as a defense mechanism?

I cut a couple arms off of a cactus I have to replant later and got some of the "cactus juice" on my hands and later on rubbed my eyes. It burned just as bad as when I did the same thing cutting peppers. I scratched my nose even later and now my nose burns.

It kinda got me curious about the nature of cacti.

We cleaned the carpet with one of those bulky carpet cleaners and even used special pet soap stuff and we cleaned the carpet and there were a lot of pet stains from my dog. They were when she would have accidents as a puppy and they seemed to come up really well but a day or two later the carpet is still wet and the whole room smells really bad like urine. Im talking really bad....its so bad its smelling up the whole house. How do I get rid of this smell????? It is driving all of us crazy! Any suggestions?

I put new vinyl tile in my kitchen. In the spot where my kitchen meets my livingroom carpet I need to install a new metal divider and replace the old carpet tacking(which I had to tear out because I cut my carpet back 6"). I cannot fasten the tacking or the metal divider to my concrete slab floor. Any suggestions????

I live in Nebraska and I recently moved out of my first apartment. It was a somewhat crappy apartment when I moved in. When I moved out, I was given an outrageous bill that topped over $600. Examples of the charges: Shower/Tub Track- $55, Blinds- $14. Ironically, I worked for a cleaning company and cleaned the entire apartment myself. Even if it was dirty, I know that it does not take that much money to clean it. I wrote them a letter and they knocked down the prices to just under $500, but I feel that is way too much. I really need help with this situation because I feel taken advantage of. Thank you.

I have picked out a lot of black modernish furniture. But how can I add the beachy feel? The black furniture goes with some of our other furniture in our house, but not entirely. I am really trying to stick to IKEA.com, so if you have some ideas, that'd be awesome!
