Taken some cuttings, put them in water and they sprouted roots, so have potted them in some peat. Anyone have any tips for me to make sure they grow nice and strong?

We live in Southern California. And yes it's been hot. My gardner set them to go on at 5:oo am. But I see other people's sprinklers on at all different times. (and their lawns look great)
My hubby thinks that's a strange time.
Does any one know or have some input?
Thanks!

Because my hours were cut at work for a couple weeks the money I had saved up to get my furnace fixed had to be used to pay bills and lot rent. The most I have saved up is about 200 dollors. So...I have to use the alternative which means I cant afford to have my furnace worked on but I still want to keep the house somewhat warm. I live in Michigan so winters can get pretty cold at times. I also live in an older style mobile home. Everyone keeps telling me to use space heaters but I really dont want to go that way because of the way they run up the electricity. I was thinking of covering my windows with plastic, and thick blankets, using alot of blankets on myself, have lots of soup and hot drinks. someone mentioned using 100 watt lightbulbs or heat lamps. Anymore suggestions would be helpful. Or has anyone else been in a simular situation? Also will my pipes outside freeze with no furnace? I do have them wrapped with heat tape and I leave the water trickling. Help please

I was on my laptop a few minutes ago and suddenly a HUGE roach comes out from under my bed. I live in an apartment, and I've been here for 2 years, and I've been keeping REALLY clean. The roaches were already here, before I moved here. The freakin landlord won't do anything about it. But don't you think if I move out the roaches are going to move with me? Do you recommend I move out? What do I do to get rid of them until I move out?

2 trees feel on my house during a storm, they broke my backyard iron fence and are covering more than half of the ground of my lawn. They are just laying there.

They are not my trees, they belong to a small property area behind my lawn. Behind that property area is another house with a lawn. So I think this property belongs to government since its neither mine or of my neighbor behind me.

Now, I don't know who to call? I don't know any name or number for that property behind my house. The property is just a ground which is 30 or 40 feet long and 8-10 feet wide, and have long large trees, woods, and other junk on it.

Since the fence is broken a turtle have crossed and is living in my lawn. He must be living in that property area before along with some cats (I also believe the local cats live there at night ).

I have $1000 deductible for home insurance which means I might have to pay $1000 if I call my insurance. I only have $100 in my bank. I am sick diabetic man with no money

I painted my apartment wall in a checker pattern with five different colors and constantly rinsed the paint rollers and pans in the tub between colors. Now the base of the tub is a red-orange-brown rainbow.

I used interior latex flat paint from lowe's. How can I remove it? I tried scrubbing with water and a towel but it didn't work.
