I have been in Spain for the past summer. Returning home this Friday, after seeing the mimosa plants there I would really like to add some to my garden in the San Joaquin Valley... Does anyone know if these plants will thrive in the area?

inherited set of disco lights, no plug though. four wires instead of the usual three. Don't know where to put the fourth wire, and don't want to blow anything up by putting black wire in with any others, including myself. Not tooo technically minded so probably shouldn't be doing this anyway, but we all love disco lights. Any advice? (sarcastic people need not apply!!!!!)

I've tried everything to clean my shower...straight bleach, Scrubbing Bubbles, Orange Clean, Zap!, Kaboom, Simple Green, Tilex, Comet, and that new Comet spray gel stuff. The new Comet bathroom cleaner faded the tiles and did an OK job, but my tiles still aren't clean and sparkling white. Ugh! Please help....what works? Is there something that isn't toxic and doesn't have a lot of fumes as my bathroom has no window and the Comet cleanser that I just used gave me a headache!

Why socks can't commit and stay a couple? They keep disappearing, and only one sock is usually present! I have a long white sporty sock, a short pink sock, a flowery sock and a striped sock. I rolled them into balls, as I was taught, to keep them together, and today I unrolled one ball, and it was only ONE sock inside!
Do they have a commitment problem?

My A/C compressor does not start with no noise even the fan is running. However, the fan is using a different capacitor. Do you think it will be a problem for the compressor capacitor? What other possible problem it could be? Thanks all your help.

I recently had our garden planted with bluegrass. At first it was growing okay, but i noticed that it looks dry and the leaves look thinner than before. I noticed many red ants were burrowing in the soil, which i guess caused the grass to dry. How do i eliminate them without killing the grass?

Just bought a house this past June. Basement needs finished so kids can have their own rooms and another bathroom, and I need retaining walls to prevent erosion around basement at the back of the house. Can't really afford another loan, but are there grants available for home improvements?

Does anyone know how they determine how much your items are worth? I am asking because our whole town got flood and everything in our basement is ruined. I am not going to turn it in and raise my rates if they are going to say my stuff isn't worth anything. Does anyone know how they determine this?
