I have a few sugarsnap pea vines growing at the moment. I was just wondering if there is some way to get them to be a bit bushier? They seem to just make a beeline from the sky, but pinching the tip off doesnt seem to help them grow more below.
Or should I just resign myself from each vine just growing a couple meters in the air?

I posted another question, that brought me to this one.

Would you buy a 100 year old log home? Why or why not.

Do you have an older log home? What are some problems you ran into?

Thanks!

The one in the kitchen. Do you have a special cloth to do it? And where do you keep that cloth, or do you throw it away afterwards?
That comes up costly (I used Comet to clean it all inside, and then threw the cloth away).

I'm painting my bedroom this week... I picked a nice light green color.

My bedroom is next to the attic...so part of the ceiling is slanted. The slant starts about 1/4 of the way across the ceiling, and goes down to about...3/4 of the way of the back wall.

If that makes sense? I'm not sure that it does. It could to someone, I hope.

Anyway, that slant, along with the rest of my ceiling, has always been white.

I'm wondering if it would be wise to paint the slant the same green color as the rest of my walls. I considered making it an accent wall, but I'm not interested in that.

So your opinions, based on my description...

Paint it green? Or stick with the white?

My daughter left a cookie on the floor last night , when I got up this morning there were these tiny light colored ants? They look exactly like ants , only they are really small. I cleaned everything , now I keep noticing them everywhere!! I am going insane they are taking over my life and I feel like I have an insect invasion going on!! I am a really clean person and I am having a hard time dealing with this, what the h*ll should I do to get rid of the bastards? Keep in mind , they are pretty small, that is the worst part about it. It really freaking me out!Has anyone ever seen tiny ants before? I dont know if this helps , but I live in the U.P of Michigan.

I was washing a quilt and a few cloths, not enough to overload it, it turned on and ran for a while then quit, I went to take the cloths out and felt they were still damp and saw that the dial was stopped just before the rinse cycle, I pulled the nob out to turn it back on and nothing, I tried starting the cycle over again and nothing, the plug is all the way in and I checked the circut breaker and it is fine, what could be wrong with the washer?

All I need to do is run a gas line from its current possition to approx 7ft. to the other wall.

I have clear access to the gas line under my kitchen.

Is this job as easy as I think it is? Why or why not?

Please give your best advice on how to do this without telling me to call a professional.

Thanks!

There are two breaker boxes and the meter panel. The outside breaker has 3 breakers for the A/C and one 100amp(labeled "main") that must go to the inside sub breaker. When I flip that "main" outside breaker the A/C continues to operate.

The combined Ampage of all those outside breakers is 180. How can I tell if it's acceptable to add another 50 amp breaker for hot tub.

One electrician claims they are only providing 100amp max from the company to the house. If that's the case they are already way overloaded. What's another 50 Amps?

By the way....there a few higher amp curcuits in the home we don't even use. Such as water heater (solar) and wall unit A/C's.

So I use the smaller thing and shoved a stick up and painted. I only had 2 quarts of paint lol and it covered half the ceiling but it looks good.

Should I use spray paint next time??????????

What's the easiest way??? I hate that popcorn ceiling...but it needs to be painted because it has brown spots lol.

I have one sponge I use to scrub the tub and bathroom sink. I have another sponge just for scrubbing the kitchen sink. How often should I throw them out? I generally don't use sponges much since they can hold so many germs in them, but for those items I do like to use a sponge.
