Sounds like either your main sewage line is blocked or broken or the septic tank is overflowing.
It would take more than a cake of soap to do it.

First off, do not pour boiling water into your toilet. Doing that can crack the bowl, then you won't have to worry about that soap any more. Second, don't put Drano or other clog remover down there. They will react with the soap violently and could literally blow your toilet out of the floor. A snake is your best bet, all you should need is a closet auger type. You might have to stay at it in the hopes of just making the stuck soap small enough to flush, but it's your best option.

It sounds like you have a septic system and the soap has gotten wedged in the pipe leading to the septic tank leading to partial or complete blockage of effluent flow. It seems to be further complicated by the fact that there has been blow-out of the pipe, and loss of containment of septic material. Its going to have to be dug up and patched or replaced. This is not going to be a pleasant job! Because of the water, the soap might soften and dissolve enough to clear on its own but I don't know how long this will take. The hole in the pipe is not going to repair itself however. Some unlucky person is going to have to dig down to it (it can't be very deep if sewage blew out onto the yard), see if you can go in through the hole and fish the bar of soap out with a snake. then you might be able to use a big "fernco" to fix the pipe. if its really shot, you might have to replace. Maybe you neice should help!

Do they have a septic system? If they do, sounds like the soap plugged up the out going pipe and the septic system is backing up and bubbling up out of the yard. BIG MONEY to repair if that's the case!! Hope it's just some good old red clay pipe that broke and they can replace it with PVC. Good luck!!

It sounds like your septic system is clogged. Call septic Pro and have it inspected, the tank probably needs to be pumped out and he can look at the drain field. The soap will dissolve but it sounds like your system needs a little maintenace. Good Luck

You may want to read this article. The FIRST thing I always do if My toilet is clogged is TURN off the TOILET water...You don't need a flood in your home either. As for the sewer backup in your parents yard? I hope they have flood insurance because you are going to probably need a Restoration company to clean it up. The sewer is backing up.
I used to work for a Fire and Flood Restoration company here in Vancouver, BC area. I have seen some very bad fire aftermath and Bad Sewer back ups. We had to remove all contents out of the owners home where it was affected the most.

You have a mainline blockage. The pipe where the water is coming out is called a clean out. You will need a snake to clear it go to your local rental yard and rent a power snake. Good Luck!
