My neighbor cut all his iris leaves as soon as the flowers stopped blooming. I always thought you were supposed to leave them to get nourishment from the sun. At some point you're supposed to cut them, but when is that?

On the rare occasion that my husband gets the washing in, he leave the pegs on the line and says that it makes it easier for the next time I hang washing out. It doesn't, but I noticed the woman next door does the same thing - and there was me thinking it was a man thing.

My kids can't play outside without being attacked by ants. We can't open the back door without them coming into the house. I have never seen a yard with so many ant hills. We recently paid for an expensive bag of stuff from Lowe's. We followed the instructions and it did absoluetly nothing. I would hate to go buy another brand and it not work also. Please help! Any home remedies or secrets?

Ok so I went out and bought 4 gallons of paint. One white and three different shades of blue. I painted my walls white thinking that I would do stripes of blue over the white but now I can't think of the width of the stripes or even to do stripes. I have a dark blue a medium blue and a light blue. What should I do?
