I'm looking at perenials. Ones that are easy to grow and plant. Is tulip good?

No, tulips would not be good. After they flower, they start falling over and then turn brown. That when we cut the back down to the ground in spring.

If you are wanting a tall flowering hedge then Rose of Sharon would be a great choice.

If you are wanting a short boarder then Just about any low growing perennial will work.
