I would take some pictures and contact any of the Antique Dealers in Brewster, MA on Rte. 6A, Sandwich, MA. or Nantucket, MA. They can tell you if you have true Cranberry Glass. Some sites for reference follow:

I would go to the library where you can take a book home and look at the pictures. You would want to get one on glass only;
Also try Antiques roadshow.com red glass

The best thing to do is research it...Get an expert opinion... See how much each part is worth according to year, kind or type... And based on how much you paid; Average these things... I think you'll know when you hit a price that is too LOW and one that is too HIGH.
