You could incorporate all three. If you make it a library room, you could have an jungle corner and a more theatrical corner without having them dominate the entire room. Then you could set up book shelves and respective chairs and decor in those areas with books on those topics.

As for colors in the rooms, you can get some faux painting ideas at http://www.coloradofauxpainting.com/fauxpainting.html
However, only you can be the judge of the final look. So, check out http://www.coloradofauxpainting.com/fauxpaintingcolor.html and click on the Benni-Moore link.

This will open a window to an interactive color viewer that allows you to pick a room type and then change the colors on the walls to see which ones you like.

There is also a function that allows you to upload photos of your own into the site and then change the colors.

It's really pretty cool- hope that helps a bit.

Do it in a library theme and have a large baroque mirror like the one in Phantom in the room.

Perhaps a treasure box on a round table by a lamp with "promps" for their imaginations from some of their favorite books they have read. A mask from Phantom, an animal skin from Kiplings Jungle Book, a strip of ship canvas from Swiss Family Robinson etc... and then let all family members add something to the box as a remembrance from each future book they read that they can share with the family.

Beyond any theme, make the room purposeful. Have the decor mean something so that everyone will feel as if they own it and it is theirs. Then it will be memorable for all.

Best Wishes

I'd do it in the Library theme, with an old Phantom of the Opera movie poster in there so your kids will like it too! ; )

I definitely prefer the library theme. Have you seen the wallpaper that looks like a wall of books? Pretty cool for just one wall.

Sounds good. You should make it the "Homework Room"! A desk for each child! YAY!
