I never do garage sales, are they fun to go to? Are there really any bargains for normal stuff or are they all old junky antique stuff?

they are fun but you have to be careful whatever you buys works otherwise its now your junk. You can get some good stuff there cheap

Many great bargains can be found at garage/yard sales. Go with the mindset that the items are used. Ask to check any electrical items before buying because all items are "as is". I always figure "One mans junk is another mans treasure". How many gifts have you gotten that are nice, but you have no use for? These are some of the items you will find. You will also see some junk. All the towns around me have a City Wide garage sale once a year and I get lots of things that I want/need at good prices.

I love going to yard sales, some of it is junk but u can also find some very nice things there 2, we have bought tvs, computer baby items clothing an more at yard sales an all of it has either worked like new or looked like new. My mom recently bought one of those cartop cargo things for her van at a yard sale she was looking at sears for one an they wanted something like 250.00 for one like she found at a yard sale for 25.00 the only reason they got rid of it was they got a new car an it didn't fit on it right so yeah u can find junk at yard sales but u can also find some great stuff that is like new that would normally be expensive in stores but the ppl wanna get rid of it so they are willing 2 get rid of it for cheap just to make room

I like Garage sales but I also love Freecycling! it's great and it's FREE. It's like a garage sale but with no money!
