I had to do more than one coat of paint 3yrs. ago, and when I went to remove the protective tape from the door frame and the base boards, the paint started to peal with the tape like a latex glove. What is the best paint to use and where can I get it.

I removed the top from the legs. I am thinking of using 1" osb and tiling the top. I want to have a high gloss/shine because i want to use broken up tile or pebble stone, so i want to preserve the look and detail of the tile. what would i use to finish off the top. the tiles are not going to be shiny. Any suggestions.....?

Usually I like to use a damp towel to clean the floor because vacuum cleaner is too heavy and too noisy to me. Any good ways to clean the floors? Thanks.

Well water is dripping quite steadily from my ceiling about a a foot out from my vent opening. I am thinking it is from condensation(and a lot of it) for it started as soon as i turned up my air conditioning. Now it does not always do this so I am thinking its humidity/condensation. Has any of you had this problem? The plaster is kinda bubbled out from the water and everything. Water is not pouring but its a slow drip...drip...drip...and its slowly stopping and drying since i turned the air off. WILL BUYING A SMALL INEXPENSIVE DEHUMIDIFIER FOR THAT ROOM SOLVE THE PROBLEM?

Most of my clothes are Hand Wash Only and today I bought a washer that has a hand wash cycle on it. Even though it says hand wash I'm still a little afraid of putting my hand wash only clothes in it. Has anyone done this before that can give me a positive (or negative if you really had one) experience so I won't be so scared to put my clothes in there? I'd be devistated if they ruined! But I really don't have time anymore to hand wash my clothes.

okay, so today my mom found this old secratary cabinet. how she loves to go 'dumpster diving' lol. and its pretty old. but theres one panel the won't open and theres a keywhole. we went to home depot but the didn't have the kind of key we need (the skeloton key wouldn't work). see theres a little stick like thing that you can see poping out if you look really closely. and i tried using a hair pin cuz thats how weird i am but it didn't work. i need to use soemthing thats in the shape of a circle almost so that it can grab on to the thing popping out. if you don't understand what i mean...

it kinda looks like and l <--- if you were to look at in sideways. and thats whats popping out. i really want to know whats in that drawer thats just the way i am and want to know what i could use around the house to open it. have any ideas? i'll take any help i can get!!

I found it in my backyard. Looks to be some sort of caterpillar. What is it? Let me know if that link doesn't work.

please answer only if you haveFOUR PLUS bedrooms in your home. Do you clean the house yourself? Also, do you work full time, too?

And if you do work full time, and clean the house, is it because you don't want a maid, can't afford it, or the reason, please.

We have Yellow Jackets in our back yard. My husband is severely allergic. I need to get rid of them, but I'd prefer not to use chemical pesticides. Are there any plants that they don't like that I could plant as a deterrent? Would attracting more birds help? If chemicals must be used, are there any that target Yellow Jackets specifically? And, where exactly are the bees located? Trees? Ground? I havent' seen any "hives", just the bees, and I have been stung more times than I care to think about.

Thanks for your time

Which do you think would look better for my bathroom window?? I currently have a wooden blind there (first pic) but it needs to be replaced as it is broken. I am wondering whether I should get another wooden one or get a white, wooden-look type of mini blind (second pic)?

The blind is usually open during the day but closed during the night for privacy.
