I found it in my backyard. Looks to be some sort of caterpillar. What is it? Let me know if that link doesn't work.

The picture is out of focus and it's difficult to get the details, but here is a caterpillar that looks similar.

Saw your picture and don't know. Call your local County Extension Service. They usually have people there that know about bus abd things. You could e-mail them the picture.

if so, the first post has it right... a Hickory Horned Devil... it becomes a Regal Moth... pretty thing... tho how something that pretty comes from something this scary is past me!!!... LOL!!....
