Of the two, I like Gain. It smells better. I also like Tide and now I'm using Xtra because I'm trying to save money. The Xtra smell good. I'm very picky about my laundry smelling good. Good luck. 2D

Personally I would not use surf,it doesn't clear anything.I never use it ,Gain is nice ,it leaves your clothes smelling nice and gets them clean.

Just make sure you use liquid. Powder may not disolve properly and cause you some problems.

Are they the only choices you have????????I have used WISK for years and hope to never have to change....also use the liquid in any kind....good luck
