How much does it cost to get a brick bungalow put up?
Mid-size, about 20ft x 40ft.

Cost of foundations,
Building structure itself
Connection to utilities?

(Don't worry about the internal stuff like heating, kitchen, bathroom).

Thanks.

The average build cost in the UK is £1,000 per square foot, increase that to £1,200 for a bungalow, so for the size you mention approximately £96,000.
Don't forget to add at least 10% contingency.

Figure $100 - $125 per square foot for a slab or crawlspace foundation, simple framing and roof construction, with low end finishes to start. The more complex the design, and higher end finishes can bring cost per square foot well over $200.(I build some homes @ $500 - $700 per square foot) Good luck!

Have a look in your library for any of the many books showing house plans. They give you a fair idea of the materials required, and then it is a simple matter of costing them. My son is about to start building his own new home, reckons 60k pounds or 90 -100K euro will do it, and that is including kitchen, heating and bathroom
