A while back I left an enamel teakettle on the burner and once all the water evaporated, the teakettle burned on the burner and now it has hardened enamel all stuck to it.

Just now, I left a plastic measuring cup on a burner and the oven is on - yep, the cup melted onto the burner and now that burner has plastic all on it!

I know I'm lucky there've been no fires but I think I've learned my lesson. But.... how can I clean the enamel and plastic off of the burners? I have tried steel wool on the enamel one and it didn't budge.
If I turn on the burners they smoke very bad, so I can't do this and esp w/ the enamel I don't think that will work.

Any ideas? Thank you!~

Would someone recommend a website that specifically lists plants and shrubs that are and are not dog friendly? I would like to plant several in my yard this year but I am not sure which are poisonous. I would like to plant Sambucus Black Lace, Dalechampia dioscoreifolia (Bow Tie vine), and some different varieties of Heuchera.

So, back to the topic, my room seems kind of dull to me so I want to decorate it but i have no materials, decorations whatsoever. I need some ideas and preferably a website about what i could do to make my space a little brighter. Oh ya, i live in an apartment so I can"t put anything up on the wall unless tape could hold it =)) And also i can't buy flowers, plants, anything so pls don't tell me to get a lot of flowers and stuff

I have a large parking lot, that is 12 years old. A friend of mine says you can get a new "skin", but my parking lot maintenance guy says "skins" create problems and will flake apart. he suggests a whole new lot. I am not sure what to do.

Does the number of blossoms on my peach tree determine the amount of fruit I will get on my peach tree? Do the blossoms turn into peaches? Being in central Texas, is there anything I should watch out for on my peach tree? This is my first peach tree, and I would like to take care of it properly.

I want to put a poster on a wall, but I don't want to leave pin marks in the poster. I don't want to use tape either, because the tape might not come off of the poster very well. What should I use?

Im starting a vegetable garden in huge pots.Im a bit weary about putting harmful pesticides on my veggies and wondered if there was a way I could use something safe to spray on my veggies--like warm vinegar. Something safe. FYI: I am growing Broccoli, Cucumbers,Romaine lettuce,Spinach and Spearmint. I just planted the seeds yesterday. OH!! And what is Sod? How is this different from top soil? Is it a fertilizer?

Im not sure if I planted this stuff the right way, but I just got top soil, put the seeds in the dirt, watered it and gave it moderate sunlight. I brought my veggies in cause I figured it is too cool to leave out at night.

Thanks!

Is there a good cleaner to use that is not harmful to foods? A few spills in there that aren't very appealing and are sticky so need something good to clean it but don't want it to be harmful. Like 409? Would that be okay?
