I have the Dyson Animal. It's great! I love it to death.
It gets all the pet hair, dirt, ground in things, and a lot of the smells out of my carpet because it cleans so far down.
I love it. I've had for almost a year now and it's suction has been constant it's never gone down or anything. It's a snap to empty the dirt canister which is quite large so I can vacuum the day away and never have to empty it. It's great.
I highly recommend it.

I have a Eureka Altima Bagless vacuum cleaner, and I can't stand it! My old one bit the dust, and this one was on sale at Lowes for $60 so I bought it, but it does not work well at all. I am thinking about going to buy the same one that I used to have. It is a Eureka also, but it uses bags and works a lot better. It's at Wal-Mart for $39.00 and the bags are only like $4 for 4 or 5. I prefer the bags now, because you don't have to change the filters and stuff, only the belt like once a year. Hope this helps!

Kirby diamond edition. It cost me up the waazoo but it works like a charm! it has all the little doo dads (was suckered to buy them all lol) that cleans the carpet, sprays paint on the side of the house, blows up any inflatable object (not trying to be funny), cleans the key boards, it does alot! I would recomend this to any one that had a few extra dollars to spend.

I have a Kirby Generation 3!!! I have had it for 15yrs and it's still going strong. It's ok, I never really did like it,it has so many attachments that I don't even know what they do. But all in all just by how long I have had it,I guess it's been a good one.

I have a Dyson, yes it is expensive, but it is soooo worth it! Got it a Sam's Wholesale club, it was a little less expensive than at Bed Bath and Beyond, or other home-goods stores
It works WONDERS!
