its white and has a shower door on top. thanks for any tips.

they have a very good fake tile shower surround at home depot for not much money, it just goes over what you already have with some adhesive and caulk...will look like new, and it has the appearance of real tile, but no gross grout.

You can have it refinished if you want to spend the money. You can also do this yourself if you are that type of person. If not than after cleaning tub well use furniture polish on it that will give it some shine plus it helps it stay cleaner longer. If you decide to try and refinish yourself they make a paint that you can use on tubs. Good luck

Have a professional reglaze it. After years of cleaning with abrasive cleansers the finish wears down and the only way to get the shine back permanently is to reglaze it.
Call a store that specializes in antique bathroom fixtures. It's pricey, be fore- warned!

They make refinish kits that you can easily do yourself. If you can read and follow instructions you should be fine. Look for them in the plumbing section of Lowes or Home Depot.

sounds like you need to re enamel the tub. I am not for sure, but I think any plumbing place could tell you how to get the enamel.

you could replace it if you want,but if not their are many bath tub cleaners to use like Oxi Clean.i think that is the best cleaner to use to make it shine.100% garentee.

emeron epoxy paint . they sell kits . its somewhat complicated , pro refinishing is easier .
