Ok, im a teenager so basicly i can't buy anything. ANYTHING. Just saying because i want to decorate my room and pple would probably tell me places where i could buy stuff. So, back to the topic, my room seems kind of dull to me so I want to decorate it but i have no materials, decorations whatsoever. I need some ideas and preferably a website about what i could do to make my space a little brighter. Oh ya, i live in an apartment so I can"t put anything up on the wall unless tape could hold it =)) And also i can't buy flowers, plants, anything so pls don't tell me to get a lot of flowers and stuff

I am the bargain queen, so I hope I can help you out! If you want to give your room a new look, I would start out by rearranging the furniture first. Since money is an issue, you could use an old bedsheet and convert it to a curtain(s) by using pushpins to attach it firmly to the wall and let it drape down kind of long to the floor. As far as the plants go, you don't have to forego them if it's something you like. Go to a park or someplace and pick some brightly colored ones and just put them in a drinking glass on a nightstand or table to help add color. Also, florist shops have lots of "leftovers" and I'm sure they would just give you a few single flowers. You could find some neat pictures in a magazine or something and frame it to hang on the wall. Also, candles are really cheap and do wonders for lighting and livening up a room! I don't know where you are located, but you have to check out a website called www.freecycle.org. It's a non-profit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their hometowns. Money is tight for me too, and I was able to get a couch, dresser, and some other great stuff from my local freecycle group, and I didn't pay a penny! Take a look at some thrift shops too and see what you can find for less than a dollar to decorate with. Make a game out of it, and just have fun! Hope your room turns out great!

This is a very hard question to answer. If you want to decorate you are going to have to buy something--even if it is a poster board. I would suggest getting some poster board and cutting out magazine pictures, letters and put it with pictures of your friends. You can make some really cool collages with a few magazines, glue and poster board.

It's kind of hard to decorate without anything to do it with. Maybe you should just try to re-arrange your room. Do something a little more interesting. When I was younger I used to draw out how I wanted my room to look then when I decided what I like the best, I did my best to do it.

What are you do you like nature so then possibly a putting plant.Are you a tom boy then possibly paint a image of the sea.possibly somewhat you like activities decrease a basketball in 0.5 and cling it up.

With all the restrictions you have placed upon this question, all I can suggest is to take an old t-shirt. Cut a three inch strip of cloth from it. then tie it round your head so that it covers you eyes. make several of these and have your guest wear them also. This will instantly transform your space!

When all else fails, rearrange the furniture. Try some really weird configurations, you may like them.
